Bangladesh becomes 'role model' as AL in electric power: PM

Awami League (AL) has turned the nation as a job model in the world because of residing in the state electric power for an extended term.

Primary minister Sheikh Hasina said this in Monday even while speaking at the standard weekly virtual cabinet meeting at Bangladesh secretariat. 

She joined this virtual meeting from her official home Ganobhaban.

“The whole planet respects today's Bangladesh. The federal government has been ready to do so due to staying workplace for a long time.” she said.

She expressed her gratitude to the persons of the united states for giving her the scope with their mandate within the last three consecutive general elections.

PM Hasina said, “Once Bangladesh was known for herbal calamities and poverty. But no one today speaks about these exact things. Somewhat Bangladesh has made a good example in the whole world on how to accomplish creation, reduce poverty, generate work, develop the approach to life of people and provide healthcare facility.”

The prime minister said Bangladesh would achieve further progress under the Perspective and 8th Five Year Plans.

This (2021) is a crucial year for our country as a result of birth centenary of the Father of the country and Golden Jubilee of the Independence of the united states, she added.

Sheikh Hasina said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman wished to create a poverty- and hunger-no cost Bangladesh.


“We’ll build a Bangladesh where no person will stay homeless. Every residence will become illuminated with electricity. We’ll meet the basic demands of folks from education to health care sectors. We’ll create jobs and advance the country,” Hasina added.

Discussing the Padma Bridge issue, the prime minister stated one famous person experienced raised questions about this bridge and that each committed the notorious task just for simply keeping the managing director’s content of a bank.

“It was quite definitely unfortunate,” she said without mentioning anyone’s name.

Sheikh Hasina as well mentioned that the federal government took the problem as a challenge and had made a decision to build the bridge with its own assets and that bridge is currently a reality.

“This specific one decision has changed the image of Bangladesh across the world. And this proves that Bangladesh isn't reliant on anyone,” she added.

The prime minister put emphasis on the continuation of the image and building the country’s dignity even more. “Bangladesh must be established as a dignified country.”

Hasina said the vast workforce of the country and other resources have to be utilised properly to have the country forward.
