Florida tourism officials dread travel ban as planting season break approaches

Florida tourism officials are worried over the possible threat of a domestic travel ban by President Biden ahead of the spring break season.

The CDC speculates the UK variant of the coronavirus may be the dominant strain in the US by the end of March.

Right now, there are a lot more than 1,000 situations of the variant found in 39 states. Florida has almost 400 of these cases.

Public health officials say the strain is extra contagious. The Biden administration can be considering issuing travel limitations in Florida to gradual the distributed of the variant.

Tourism officials say a good ban at this time would devastating.
