Google Maps App for iOS Finally Updated After Four Months

Following the completed rollout of Application Privacy labels because of its App Store software, Google today kept up to date the Google Maps iphone app for the very first time in four months.

Apple in December began requiring all new app submissions and application updates to add App Personal privacy labels, detailing the info that's collected by the software so consumers really know what they're sharing.

Google didn't begin implementing App Personal privacy labels until February, and Google software went several months lacking any update. Gmail, in fact, went such a long time without updating that it began giving users a caution that it was outdated, but no update was available.

Google Maps was updated with App Privacy labels on early April, and alongside Google Images, it was among the last apps to obtain the data collection details.

Given that Google Maps is compliant with the App Retailer guidelines, Google is once more in a position to update it. Today's release 5.65 refresh is minor in level, offering bug fixes that increase the Google Maps app, but Google is now absolve to add additional features in the years ahead
